If you would know from the beginning that starting something that will bring a different outcome than what you would expect, would you be willing to start it anyway?
What if the outcome would be even better than what you would have thought it would be? What would you do then? Have you ever thought about why we start the process of learning from the early years of our lives?
Little humans always want to learn something new once they have the opportunity. They are not concerned that they might fall or hurt themselves, starting with walking to riding a bicycle, riding a scooter, or playing sports. All they want is to learn, do things, grow, and evolve.
We all carry this force inside us. This unique force is what drives us from the beginning of our lives and we can't seem to stop. I call this the process of becoming.
We are all driven to do, accomplish and learn new things. This means that we want to evolve, thrive, and reach goals. This is how we become what we feel we are here to do. Starting a process is never easy! This might be the hardest part. Once we start, it seems we cannot stop. We want to keep on going and do things even if it is not always easy.
With every new day, we find this refreshed willingness to do new things because we know that we have not learned everything yet to feel complete. I call this the beauty of the process.
As adults, we always question the process, and we doubt ourselves. Have you ever thought about why we do that? Why do we sometimes lose trust in ourselves and feel discouraged?
In our growing process, we were taught that we need to be careful with everything and everyone and that trusting someone comes with risks. This is partly true, but it is not serving our growth process and evolving can be put on hold.
We should always listen to the little voice inside us, and remind ourselves that this process we are going through is for us. This is the way we learn. If you cannot trust people around you, at least try, and always remember! Trust yourself! You always know what is best for you.
Entering into the process of learning something or achieving a goal always comes with challenges, but this is the best part of it.
You would never have thought that the part when you "fell" the first time would make you see things clearer and the second time when you "fell" would make you do things differently, and the third time when you "fell", you wouldn’t have thought that you would see the sun shining when you would "pick yourself up".
When the storm is approaching, we become worried and concerned about the damage it may cause, but we always have to remember that the sun is always coming back, and every time, it seems brighter than ever.
Why is that? Because we all carry hope in our hearts even if, for some of us is difficult to see it and feel it again.
Let's look at nature's wisdom. Nature teaches us great wonderful things. Spring is always returning after the winter season and everything comes back to life.
What a wonderful experience! To come back to life! To be able to breathe, to feel every emotion and to see the beauty in the process that you are going through.
We are always searching for perfection in everything we do, but we never think that the perfection of the process is what brings us to where we need to be in our lives. Going through it helps us understand things better and "pushes us" to keep on going. Try to always trust it, and cherish it as it is.
As Confucius said: "Everything has beauty but not everyone can see it". I say that we should focus on the beauty of being human and even if life is not always as we think it should be, or how we were taught it should be, we have to know that our inner being knows best.
Search your answers through your life experiences and keep your attention on things that are meaningful to you, things that help you grow and bring clarity into your life. Helping yourself to grow is the most wonderful, perfect, and beautiful process in which you can be today. If your growth process is not as you expect it to be, always rely on your inner being.
Probably the way you were taught to think and be is "getting in your way". Once you listen to your true self, you will always know that the process you are in, is the perfect one for you in your life journey.
Remember, beauty and perfection is always in the process.
