why taking a break is important

The era that we are living in taught us so well to be so organized most of the time that we hardly have the opportunity to "escape".

We find ourselves in situations that "push us out" from our daily activities because we do not dare to invite ourselves out of the action. Human beings are doers. We are driven to do things from early am to late pm. We function this way. We learned to be and do things this way because this is familiar to us. We are so habituated to our daily busy life that we even tell ourselves: " I can't "afford" to take a break."

Except that when we manage to push ourselves over our limits, our bodies say: "Stop. wait, and recharge." The wisdom of our bodies is remarkable.

We often hear our acquaintances or family members: " I was unable to wake up this morning. I don't know what has happened to me. I must be very tired lately because I can't do things as usual."

It is normal! It is okay to feel tired. We must allow our bodies to tell us what to do. If we feel tired, we must listen to our bodies, starting with our stiff necks or our contracted legs. We must take a break. We assume that if we stop our work, things will get stuck.

I believe that we must train our minds to do things in a way that allows us to be and function in a state of ease rather than a state of discomfort. We must invite ourselves daily to take a break for our emotional health as well as for our physical health.

We need to dare to take a vacation when needed. We do not need to travel far away from home to be on vacation. We even can take daily vacations that can last even minutes. We just need to change the scenery and "refresh" our bodies and our minds. We must take care of our inner state. Our soul needs to be nurtured the same way as our bodies. We need to provide proper "food" to grow and expand.

Surely we can't do it if we don't allow it. For those of you, who cannot do that, think it that way: "If I take a break now, I will be more efficient at work when I return.

We cannot give if we are "empty". A recent survey states that 59% of people reach burnout just because they often miss their breaks during their workday. Taking breaks does not only mean resting and recharging. Taking your breaks when needed can help boost your productivity.

Human beings have limited phycological and physical resources. We need to recharge to induce a state of well-being and strength.

When we run out of energy, we feel stressed, exhausted, and stressed out, even overwhelmed.

If you feel that is too much of what you are doing, allow yourself to take that most needed break. Pausing from your work will allow you to rest and recharge and help you create a new path in serving yourself first and focusing on things that matter.

The life that you want to live is already waiting for you to begin. Having more breaks doesn't mean renouncing all of your projects or renouncing your work completely.

Having more breaks means you care for yourself and respect every area of your life. You will allow yourself to see that all areas of your life matter equally. You will be able to envision yourself in a way that you did not do earlier and you will gain clarity.

Taking a break or more is a decision that only you can take. Listen to your body and your inner voice and allow it to be heard when the time is right.

Sometimes we need to put our life "on hold" to truly understand the meaning of it, and its real value. Taking breaks will also help you become the person you always wished to be.

Building things and achieving them always comes with the best results if we allow ourselves to pause when needed. The only way a man can reach his final destination is through rest, reflection and reprioritization when necessary. We always think clearer in the morning. I believe we can agree on this.

Do your best to recharge and move at your speed. No pressure is needed when we want to do things well. Firstly, it does not serve us, and secondly, every little thing has its timing. Make sure you don't intervene in speeding up your journey. You might end up losing the most important part of it. The PRESENT MOMENT.

Now let's do it together again. Stop, breathe, recharge, be in the PRESENT MOMENT and LIVE.
