OUR STORY
Our story begins after contemplating years after years the beauty of nature, especially the glorious bloom of the Japanese cherry tree. Nature’s wisdom teaches us everything that we need to know to experience a more fulfilling life. We believe that we have to tend to our souls as we tend to our bodies and the one marvellous place where we can do that is, in nature.
We want to share a part of nature’s story and its beauty with you by crafting embroidered pieces, inspiring tools and timeless pieces that fill your heart.
Our symbol
Our symbol is inspired by the Cherry Blossom, Sakura in Japanese. It symbolises the rebirth of life, a
renewal of life and brings with it hope, beauty, grace, calm and inner peace. Its glorious bloom gives us
wonder, joy and hope in our hearts. It tells us subtly that we can bloom as glorious as a Cherry tree. This
beautiful tree it is also a symbol of spring, a new beginning.
We chose it, because we believe that we have to
remind ourselves that even if its bloom fades away quickly, spring always returns and it always will. Regardless the struggles and difficult moments in our lives, we always manage to overcome them and find hope
again. During this season of bloom the Sakura Tree invites those who want to hear its message and that is
that after the harsh season of winter, the spring always returns and with its arrival begins another cycle,
another chapter of our lives where we can start again and bring what we believe we truly need.
It gives us the opportunity to dream again and create a different path in our lives if we consider doing so.
Our Values
We respect deeply the natural environment and we make sure that all that we do is made out of respect for nature. The journal cover fabric is made out of natural fibre (cotton). Our tees are made out of organic cotton and the fabric used for the tableaux is made out of pure linen. We carefully select our material which is of high quality and from sustainable sources.
