WHY TAKING A BREAK IS IMPORTANT

why taking a break is important

The era that we are living in taught us so well to be so organized most of the time that we hardly have the opportunity to "escape".

We find ourselves in situations that "push us out" from our daily activities because we do not dare to invite ourselves out of the action. Human beings are doers. We are driven to do things from early am to late pm. We function this way. We learned to be and do things this way because this is familiar to us. We are so habituated to our daily busy life that we even tell ourselves: " I can't "afford" to take a break."

Except that when we manage to push ourselves over our limits, our bodies say: "Stop. wait, and recharge." The wisdom of our bodies is remarkable.

We often hear our acquaintances or family members: " I was unable to wake up this morning. I don't know what has happened to me. I must be very tired lately because I can't do things as usual."

It is normal! It is okay to feel tired. We must allow our bodies to tell us what to do. If we feel tired, we must listen to our bodies, starting with our stiff necks or our contracted legs. We must take a break. We assume that if we stop our work, things will get stuck.

I believe that we must train our minds to do things in a way that allows us to be and function in a state of ease rather than a state of discomfort. We must invite ourselves daily to take a break for our emotional health as well as for our physical health.

We need to dare to take a vacation when needed. We do not need to travel far away from home to be on vacation. We even can take daily vacations that can last even minutes. We just need to change the scenery and "refresh" our bodies and our minds. We must take care of our inner state. Our soul needs to be nurtured the same way as our bodies. We need to provide proper "food" to grow and expand.

Surely we can't do it if we don't allow it. For those of you, who cannot do that, think it that way: "If I take a break now, I will be more efficient at work when I return.

We cannot give if we are "empty". A recent survey states that 59% of people reach burnout just because they often miss their breaks during their workday. Taking breaks does not only mean resting and recharging. Taking your breaks when needed can help boost your productivity.

Human beings have limited phycological and physical resources. We need to recharge to induce a state of well-being and strength.

When we run out of energy, we feel stressed, exhausted, and stressed out, even overwhelmed.

If you feel that is too much of what you are doing, allow yourself to take that most needed break. Pausing from your work will allow you to rest and recharge and help you create a new path in serving yourself first and focusing on things that matter.

The life that you want to live is already waiting for you to begin. Having more breaks doesn't mean renouncing all of your projects or renouncing your work completely.

Having more breaks means you care for yourself and respect every area of your life. You will allow yourself to see that all areas of your life matter equally. You will be able to envision yourself in a way that you did not do earlier and you will gain clarity.

Taking a break or more is a decision that only you can take. Listen to your body and your inner voice and allow it to be heard when the time is right.

Sometimes we need to put our life "on hold" to truly understand the meaning of it, and its real value. Taking breaks will also help you become the person you always wished to be.

Building things and achieving them always comes with the best results if we allow ourselves to pause when needed. The only way a man can reach his final destination is through rest, reflection and reprioritization when necessary. We always think clearer in the morning. I believe we can agree on this.

Do your best to recharge and move at your speed. No pressure is needed when we want to do things well. Firstly, it does not serve us, and secondly, every little thing has its timing. Make sure you don't intervene in speeding up your journey. You might end up losing the most important part of it. The PRESENT MOMENT.

Now let's do it together again. Stop, breathe, recharge, be in the PRESENT MOMENT and LIVE.

HOW YOUR PERCEPTION CAN INFLUENCE YOUR JOURNEY

Perception

Journeying towards our goals and achievements, our expectations can be high. We might expect to finish what we put our minds on during a certain amount of time. The completion of our projects is not always what we imagine when we start them. While reaching our goals, we end up telling ourselves: "This is not how I imagined things will happen." Or "Things happened so quickly that I barely noticed the time passing."

This is because our perception of things may be influenced by different factors like culture, society, and beliefs. These beliefs "infused" in us from a very young age can shape the contour of our perception.

People perceive things very differently from one person to another. We assume that things must happen in a particular way, which is something which might interfere with experiencing the essential part of learning. We are people who love to control every aspect of our experiences and choose to do so every time we can.

Life is colourful if we see it in colours. Not everything is black and white except if we choose to see it that way.

Our perception might be influenced by motivation as well. If you are motivated to reach the completion of a certain project you will perceive things as being easy. This might not be the case always, but you are driven by your motivation. This is the reason that you can finalize your project.

The way we interact with the world is influenced as well by our perception of people. If we perceive people as being positive we assume that we might have positive interactions. If we perceive them otherwise, we tend to "analyze" them before we commit to building a long-lasting relationship.

In some cases, we might perceive things the opposite way because of the context in which we find ourselves. Make sure to take things out of context before you make an honest opinion about people or experiences.

We all have different personalities. That is one of the reasons why it affects our perception of things. Some of us might perceive life experiences and events as being dramatic or stimulating. Some of us might perceive things as being quite in the "norm".

The same is with certain types of food. If we have a positive opinion towards a particular type of meal, we will surely say that it tastes better than those who do not.

Another factor that might influence our perception is attention. If we are attentive to all the details when an experience is occurring we surely perceive things a lot differently than if we were not as attentive.

Perceiving things through our lenses is as important to our life journey as it is to try to perceive things through other people's lenses. We are all unique and look at things with our unique perceptions.

It is valuable to us to know that we need to step out from our life experiences and look around.

Sometimes when things get difficult we need to question our perception of things and remind ourselves that life needs to be "colourful" and our experiences diverse.

Going through positive life experiences might change your perception of things especially if you struggled. This is one of the reasons why is better to focus on the positive in each experience you encounter. If you would have not been challenged you wouldn't have seen things so clearly.

Perceiving things when we expect positive outcomes will also enrich our evolution as a whole and balanced human beings when life gets hectic.

Try dedicating time to reflect on your perception and question yourself why you perceive things the way you do.

When you focus more on this matter, I am sure that you will find a lot of answers to most of your unanswered questions.

William Blake said: "If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, Infinite."

I say that we must change the angle when perceiving things. I am sure we can understand better if we try to "see" more clearly.

THE BENEFITS OF INNER PEACE

06/12/2023

the benefits of inner peace

One of the most searched-for inner states by humans is Inner Peace. It is something one feels and lives daily. The people who have the chance to find it might have one of the best journeys here on this gorgeous planet.

Most of us are struggling to find Inner Peace. This state of living can be something a little different for each individual. We can agree that Inner Peace can be the state of calmness, and restfulness that allows us to breathe easily regardless of what our life journey brings along.

When we find Inner Peace, we find something so valuable that we never want to let go. Inner Peace allows us to journey with joy and reassurance.

The way towards Inner Peace takes time and effort. As we all know, being at peace is sometimes difficult to do, especially if you find yourself at a crossroads.

Human beings need to have food and shelter to feel safe. These are the two basic elements that we need to feel safe. Once we know we have that, we work towards reaching our goals and life projects. Having goals and dreams is what keeps us focused and energized.

These goals will challenge us and have an impact on our lives. With all the challenges we might face throughout the process and can lose our Inner Peace.

How can we manage to maintain a state of Inner Peace when life brings various types of experiences?

Firstly, we have to look at what we have and what we have achieved so far. Secondly, we need to cultivate the feeling of gratitude towards everything and mainly towards ourselves.

We have worked so hard for everything we have in our lives, and we have to tell ourselves: "If we managed to complete this part of our journey, we surely can journey further on."

We also need to remind ourselves that building things requires time.

Surely, bold and durable projects take time. Taking our time when we create and build things is the road to success. We also have to enjoy the process that we find ourselves in while we try to achieve our goals. We must not forget to keep our Inner Peace.

How to cultivate Inner Peace when life gets difficult?

We must first clear our minds and our schedules for a short time. We need to re-centre and try to focus on daily simple living that we often forget about.

Being in nature and having at least one simple meal like our ancestors had in the middle of a green field or while watching the sunset can be a life-changing routine. Nothing is more rewarding than having nourishment for our bodies while our soul takes pleasure in contemplating the beauties of our natural world.

We also need to take work short or long breaks (if needed) when overwhelmed. We need to tell ourselves that even if our schedule needs to be completed, we can complete it later on if there is too much pressure.

It is Okay to allow yourself to breathe and be at peace with you.

Not everything grows in the same timeline. We need to grow wise to reach a state of Inner Peace.

If we set our minds on cultivating Inner Peace, we have to learn to embrace life as it unfolds. While we do that, it will also bring flow in our life, and we can have better focus while we work on our projects.

It will help us grow into the person we always wished to be.

When babies start to cry for example, if their mother is calm and peaceful, she will immediately connect with her baby. Then, we can observe that the baby becomes calm very rapidly. It means that the baby feels understood and safe.  He becomes peaceful because he/she knows that everything will be okay even if this second is difficult.

We can translate this into our adult life. We need to accept ourselves and be okay with our struggles. The minute we do that, we will know deep down in our hearts that everything will be fine in the end.

Every storm passes, and the sun always shines afterwards. We need to learn to live fully every life experience and embrace every moment of it. Our journey needs to have upsides and downfalls because only then do we feel that we are fully alive.

When we have Inner Peace, we have CLARITY. When we have clarity, we see everything that we need to see, to love our life. Only when we love our life as it unfolds we can enjoy our journey here. So, if you cultivate Inner Peace, you will know that next time when a storm approaches, it will give you rain just for a brief moment.

You must know that nothing can grow without water. Water brings growth and provides refreshment. We all need to feel at peace to be able to focus, to live a  more fulfilling life, and to love to journey along.

RECONCILING WITH YOUR PAST SO YOU MOVE ALONG YOUR JOURNEY

05/29/2023

reconciling with your past

We all have a past, we all think about it more or less depending on our character. We all have wishes and desires for our life and want to reach them. Many people believe that their current life is "marked" by their past and that somehow everything that happens in their life today is influenced by their past.

If you had a difficult past, you probably believe that life was never fair to you and you are unable to do things as you wish. You carry that fear inside you that your past will always interfere.

Every single thing that happened to us from early on in our childhood surely influences in a certain manner our current life, but it can only influence our decision-making on how to live our present life only if you let it. We should live in the present moment and not focus on our past or future, but most people struggle with it.

Why do you think people struggle with living in the present moment and living through their past? Surely because of what they were told. Everything that you heard when you were small stays in your memory for a lifetime, Not always consciously but subconsciously your life is led by what you absorbed when you were little.

What if you heard today that even if your past was difficult and you had hardships that influenced your life journey, you could change everything and be the person you always wished to be? You might think that is quite impossible but I am sure if you put aside all that you were "taught" about yourself you can be the person you always wished to be.

You must be asking yourself: "How can I do that? How could I change the way that I think about my life?"

The first and foremost thing to do is to recognize your past, acknowledge it and accept it. The past that you had surely happened because you had to be challenged to learn new things. Most of us say: "Oh, I will never do that when I will be on my own, or I will do things differently when I will be a parent!"

Our past help us become aware of what we wish to become in life or what we wish to achieve. Our past experiences help us see where we need to change or what we need to accept to move along.

Living in the present moment is the best way to live your life, but our human mind is like a store of various experiences that somehow reappear in our life because we need to change our life and our way of thinking. All our experiences are unique but somehow similar. Life always brings us to the same type of experience until we learn from it.

When you react to something that happens to you is because you need to resolve something from your past that is still unresolved. You need to heal. You need to change something in you today and move along. Reconciling with our past is our today’s success. Reconciling with what you were or what you experienced is like a balm to your heart. The minute your heart is healed you can move past all your previous experiences and live a good life today.

A good life does not mean that you won’t experience today or any other future day difficult experiences. A good life means that you understand all your life experiences and use your innate wisdom to integrate them. When you reconcile with your past you feel that your life is easier and the luggage that you carried all your life becomes less and less heavy.

We can’t deny our past and we can’t erase it but what we can do is reconcile with it and learn from it. Our life journey is always evolving if we help ourselves if we try to heal ourselves. Try not to dwell on our past. When your life will bring you again to a spot where your past will interfere say to yourself: "I see you, I accept you and I know you happened because I needed to learn something new today."

Your today might be influenced by your yesterday but you can choose how you wish to live your life. The power is in your hands. You are the one who decides how your past can influence your life journey.

Remind yourself that your brain has an incredible neuroplasticity and can be rewired. Replace your past with a bright now and move along in your journey.

If we choose to stay where we used to be, we have to own it. I am sure that most of us want to choose the best version of ourselves. So when you wake up every morning tell yourself: "The past is just the road that brought me to my current life. I am living the best life now because of everything that I learned along the way."

BEING FEARLESS IS THE CATALYST FOR CHANGE

05/22/2023

being fearless is the catalyst for change

Nothing is more dreadful than being afraid. This sentiment of fear is the one that can "block" us from accomplishing things that are meant to be accomplished during our lifetime. We often believe that we can’t do things.

Did you know that people are born with two innate fears? The fear of falling and the fear of sound noise. Most of the fears we have today are learned. People learn them at a young age, and they are influenced by their environment and culture.

So, most of the things we do not do is because of our fear, and not because of our inability to do things. Our parents had to manage their learned fears, and most of them are passed down to their children, unfortunately. They want to protect their children, and it is great. It is wonderful to have caring, protective parents, but what they do not know most of the time is that the fear that we get from them can stay with us for a long time.

Once the little humans print this fear in their beings, everything becomes blurry and uncertain. Then the road to world discovery is based mostly on fear.

To undo this learning, we first need to become conscious of it and work on dissolving it. It is not an easy thing to do. Research shows that we can overcome our fears by continued exposure to them. We have to manage our fears to be able to keep on going.

What does fearless means? It does not mean for sure to do things without reason. Contrary to that, being fearless means doing things with precaution but doing it anyway. We know that this way, we can reach that sense of meaning and accomplishment.

Life will always challenge us when doing things, either small or big. What we have to keep in mind is to believe that being fearless is becoming the best version of yourself. We always doubt whether we should start doing something new to have the best result. Our minds will always tell us that is nearly impossible to do a certain thing. Listening to a doubtful mind will never help us overcome our fears. We just have to believe in ourselves and our ability to overcome that fear when it arises.

Have you ever thought about what you can accomplish if fear of success would not concern you? Whether you wish to succeed in your career or personal life is always up to you! You need to find a way to overcome your fear either in your professional or personal life. You just need to trust yourself and do the best you can every single day. Being fearless is showing up for yourself when you need it the most.

Being fearless means that your innate wisdom is always valued and taken into consideration. Being fearless means that you wish to thrive and can do wherever you need to reach your dreams.

I always say that we need to feel the fear first, embrace it, accept it, recognize it, love it, and do it anyway. There is nothing to lose when we open our minds and our hearts to new possibilities.

What we will gain instead if it's not immediate success is a considerable amount of experience and knowledge. When we know, we feel empowered. When we feel empowered, fear seems to fade from our life.

Life is meant to be lived the way it makes us feel truly alive. Fear will never be of use except when we feel real danger. When we feel fear, we need to distance ourselves from the feeling. Take a deep look at the situation you find yourself in and try to understand it. Start to question it, and see if it's moving you forward.

When you allow yourself to go through the fear and eventually come out of it, you will gradually make you more aware of things.

Then, your life will begin to change for the better. You will start to feel more confident, and you will begin to tell yourself every morning: "I will be fearless and I will do many things that I never dared to do."

Remember, that being frightened is not always a bad thing. It has been a survival mechanism for humans for millions of years.
Being frightened and doing it anyway though, will get us where we need to be, to welcome change in our lives.

Roy T. Bennet said: "Don’t be rushed around by fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart."

My advice to you is even if the fears rush your mind try to tell them to stay still for a while while you reach your dreams. Life is a journey. Just enjoy the ride! Everything will pass in the end.

HOW TO FIND JOY IN THE SMALL THINGS

how to find joy in the small things

Finding joy in our lives is one of the first things we strive to get because this feels great.

Joy and laughter are well known to be great boosters for our immune systems. Finding joy seems easy to find at first glance, but I am sure most of us struggle to find it.

How can we find joy in a world where joy is something so foreign to many of us? The first thing to do is to imagine being a child again. See things as if you were a little human eager to discover the world.

The majority of people are struggling to find it because we were "taught" early on in our lives to focus on having a great career. That very career will bring us a good living and a good life we were told. We all wish to have a great career and do all we can to obtain it. Our mind is inclined to think that it can bring us the dream life, right?

I am sure most of us think that way. What if I tell you that this dream life is a life that will often keep us away from finding joy in the small things?

Having a great career means spending most of our time studying, having many diplomas, doing extracurricular work, and always taking extra courses throughout our careers to stay up to date. Our great career "feeds" on our time, and we have to do everything we can to sustain it.

I believe that this is the part that takes away our focus from finding joy in the small things.

How often do you hear people complaining that they have no time to be with their family and friends?

They spend all their days at work, sometimes even on weekends, working long hours to reach the deadline for x, y, and z missions. They barely have time to take their lunch break and have their meal calmly, in no rush. Let alone short breaks for tea or a snack in the afternoon. All these breaks have become a luxury for most people.

We are searching for things that do not truly bring us joy, and we spend most of our days stuck on a computer or a smartphone. What if we could cut that time in half? What if instead of spending 2 hours on our smartphones, we would spend only one? What if instead spending that hour on our devices, we would take half an hour for a nature walk or at least 15 minutes?

All it takes is to lift our heads, put away our devices and start to look around. Go to the window and look up to the sky. Then, tell yourself. " Good morning! You will have the best day of your life! Find joy in the small things!".

If you can, take 5 minutes and step outside. I am sure that at that moment, you will feel an irreplaceable joy that you cannot explain. Once you will be outside, you will start to see the sun. Then you will feel that the wind will invite you to move along with it. You
will hear the birds singing. You will find yourself in an amazing place where you fill feel pure joy.

You will find yourself in nature, and you will tell yourself. "Ahh. I am breathing. I smell the fresh air and the delicate perfume of roses."
Then your senses will open up more, and you will want to feel more of what you feel. You will invite yourself to stay more and be one with your environment.

You will even forget the time passing, and you will feel contentment. You will feel alive and joyful. You will see yourself in a different light and feel connected to yourself.

After spending time in nature, you will tell yourself. "Oh, I should take this walk more often! "

Do you know why? Because being in nature decreases your stress levels, calms your mind and nourishes your inner being. You will feel pure joy. The joy you will find in that short nature walk will be the highlight of your day.

Once you feel connected to yourself, you will want to be close to things you love. You will take time to make coffee or tee for yourself, you will take time to read a book, you will take time to stay still and just enjoy being alive.

You will realize that finding joy in the small things will be the best gift that you can receive daily.

You will feel the gift of life. You will feel that all is to be enjoyed as it is, and you will never think of the small things as being "unimportant."

Every small thing for you will become valuable. Enjoy the "small creation process" in which you find yourself, and you will see your life from a new perspective. You will reach the joy of small things.

THE POWER OF THE PRESENT MOMENT

05/08/2023

the power of the present moment

Years are made out of months, months are made out of days, days are made out of hours, hours are made out of minutes, and minutes are made out of seconds. Moments are made out of an equation of all stated above, but the present moment is made out of the present moment.

There is no equation, no subtraction, no adding, nothing. The present moment is the present moment. That is it!

You only have the present moment once and it will never come back. It will never repeat itself in the same form. Never! The present moment is this moment while you read this article. The present moment does not exist in the past, or the future. This precious irreplaceable present moment creates your life NOW. This now fills your existence. This present moment is by your side every moment except that you "ignore it" most of the time, and you always wish to be somewhere else. We always choose to be elsewhere because we are afraid to live in the present moment.

We are "afraid" of it because we all know that deep down inside that living in the present moment could break our mental barriers, and we will not feel safe. We always try to run away from the present moment, only to live a life that is not ours, an absent life. We are always running for a life we imagine most of the time, most of our days, most of our lives.

Living the present moment is the moment when you truly feel alive, the moment where you might find yourself with teardrops in your eyes just because you feel that your heart is beating so hard that it's nearly jumping out of your chest. You are so afraid that you might lose it. Everything that you feel seems so unreal and you cannot believe what you are experiencing.

Have you ever tried to feel the present moment as it is and never tried to change it? How did you find yourself in that situation? I am sure that most of us forget how to do it.

When we were little, we used to live all of the time in the present moment as it came. We were beyond excited about our play, about every new encountered experience. I am sure you can remember even today how it felt when you tried for the first time to bike or wanted to climb a hill. Every time you fully experienced the present moment, you learned something new about yourself. You were there, present connected with yourself and you stayed focused.

You burst out with joy and excitement and just lived it fully. You were never concerned about the time passing. You wanted to keep on going and living the present moment to its core. You were overwhelmed every time you reached that pure happiness and touched that great courage. Every little thing from your environment became distant because you were too concentrated and absorbed in all you were doing.

When we live in the present moment, we allow ourselves to breathe, to be, to exist. We even feel most of the time our heartbeat and our pulse because everything in our body moves. Every part of ourselves is in action. We feel every sensation, see every detail, and love it.

We love it so much because the present moment ignites our souls. When we live in the present moment, we are connected with ourselves and with everything around us. We feel alive and we love it.

We would be distracted if we would like to start doing something new today and learn more about that new thing. Why do you think? Because our minds would wander and would always find something to think of rather than living in the present moment.

Going out in nature and focusing on our environment invites our inner being to hear the sound of the wind, smell the fresh air and become one with all that surrounds us. Living in the present moment in nature makes us wish to lie down on the grass and look up.

When we are living in the present moment, we wish to stay there for as long as possible because all that we experience makes us
happy and alive. Living life through the lenses of the present moment means that we are attracted by "the now" that brings joy, reassurance that all is well and that we do not have to think of tomorrow or any other moment from the past or the future. Enjoying the present moment will stay in your being forever. Living in the present moment completely builds strong memories that will accompany us throughout our lives.

There is no past and future when you live in the present moment. The present moment is this very moment where you fill your lungs with air and feel alive. All that matters is now! When you become one with the present moment, you feel like every part of your body is fully alive. As Emmet Fox said: "The art of life is to live in the present moment." We all wish to live the best life do we not? Let's shift our mindset and live in the present moment to explore the art of life more.

When you focus on now, you are absorbed, by it and live your life now. You are alive now, you breathe now, you see now, you feel now, you touch now, you read now. Focus on the present moment, and when your mind tries to speed up, try to tell it: "Stay still, just be right here with me, let’s live the best life now! "

All that we have is the present moment. The past has gone and the future is not here yet, so live your present moment with every breath that you take and feel what means to be human.

HOW TO EMBRACE THE PASSING OF TIME

05/01/2023

how to embrace the passing of time

What is time? How do you spend your time? Is it "your" time or somebody else's time? Time is a word that limits us as human beings. Most of us believe that if time would give us enough of its own, we would do plenty of things in life.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the word time? Time defines the duration of things from the start down to the end of them, right?

How would you feel if you would have enough time for doing things? If time wouldn't exist would you be comfortable? Would you be relaxed, unstressed, anxious or worried?

Try to think of a day in your life when time doesn't exist, a day when you don't have a clock. Imagine that the only clock you would have during that day would be the sun. How would you feel? What would you do first? Who were you keen to visit or be with? How would you do things?

Most of us would be relaxed, let life happen, and we would embrace all the experiences of that day. We would do things in our timing. Would we do things in full-speed mode to finish them all?

During our life, we are celebrated by our parents, starting with our first birthday, our second, the third and so on. Even if we do not remember much of our birthdays, we continue to celebrate the time passing every single year.

Over time we see ourselves in our adulthood life. We find someone we love, we marry, become parents, and then begin the same cycle of celebration for the little humans that come along.

Time is passing, and we cannot pause it or stop it. We see our children grow, and then we become grandparents.

When people retire they ask the same question: How has time passed? We often look at the clock and build our planning around it. We try to achieve multiple things and use our time on projects, jobs, etc. Eventually, our time becomes the project's time, the achievement's time, and somebody else's time. We work hard most of the time. Time, time, time...

Some of us struggle with the fact that we age, but we never ask ourselves: How would I love to age? Would it be spending time doing just work or building a life that fulfils us?

Ageing is correlated with time passing.

Embracing the passing of time is essential. We can have a beautiful journey here on Earth by doing so.

Try to look at nature and the passing of time over it. The cycles take their course, and nature seems to be of no concern with time. Nature embraces the seasons and everything that comes upon it.

Let's take the Cherry Tree as an example. This tree is a role model which has a wonderful time over time. In spring, it has a splendid bloom.

When this tree is in full bloom is one of the most glorious trees present in nature. When the cherry flowers begin to fall, they gracefully dance until they reach the ground. Even when they are down on earth, they create a beautiful, gorgeous pink carpet of flowers. The cherry tree's leaves start to grow while the flowers fall, and then, they keep, their green and colourful shades for the longest time.

When autumn arrives, leaves do not fall quickly, they stay up in the tree for a long period compared to other trees. The leaves change their colour in the most beautiful shades of ochre, yellow and sometimes red leaves.

When winter comes, this tree embraces the passing of all the other seasons and prepares to sleep for another beautiful season. When we look closely at any tree in nature, we should learn from its wisdom and embrace the time passing. Every season we go through is coming, so we can learn new things about ourselves, about our life. These valuable lessons build up our character and help us thrive.

When you keep on looking at the clock, stop for a minute and think about how you want to live your life. Are you going against the currents of life or going along them?

How can we accept that we are here on a journey? Remember that time is relative. Our human journey might be limited, but our soul journey might be infinite.

How you spend your time LIVING is the key to acceptance of the time passing.

When our minds will be able to comprehend the miraculous way in which we exist as human beings, we will not be concerned with time passing.

Then, we will feel that life is a journey which must be embraced fully. We will only be concerned with Living our life wholeheartedly.

We will rejoice in creating wonderful memories, and we will be grateful for each struggle of ours. Live today like there is no time, and when you will think of the time passing, rest assured that it was for your evolution. It was for building you into the person you are today.

As Haruki Murakami said: "No matter how much time passes, no matter what takes place in the interim, there are some things we can never assign to oblivion, memories we can never rub away."

My invitation to you all is to write them down in your memoir to re-read them when you will have "less time". When you will do that, you will feel that you will live your whole life again. Love each moment as it comes because time as we know it is precious and should be used on building up memories that make us feel human.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR WAY OF THINKING WHEN YOU THINK YOU SHOULD

how to change your way of thinking when you think you should

We all want to live life after our own "rules". We always impose on ourselves and everyone around the ideal way of thinking. Most of the time we have an opinion to share with those around us. We advise them how they should live their lives whether they ask it or not.

We are growing with the idea that all around us is our reality, and we should live by it. We almost lose trust in our hearts because we are driven away by everything that our eyes see.

We gradually lose consideration of what brings value to our life while living it. We always manage to be organized and up-to-date when things are "imposed" on us. We do diligently our duty towards the society around us and less and less towards ourselves. Why can’t we all prioritize ourselves and embrace all experiences in our life just as they happen?

Because we have self-limiting beliefs that are kind of guiding our life. We usually limit ourselves to a certain amount of what we can achieve and how we can do it. We doubt ourselves most of the time, and, we choose to stay on the sidelines in case something "unpleasant" might happen.

We always indulge in the same type of coffee or the same tea perfume and we hardly come out of our comfort zone. Have you ever asked yourself why we do that?

Because most of the time we let our fears take away our real identity. We are concerned about what could happen or how our life might change. We always have at the back of our minds the same idea that things cannot move in the direction we wish them to move because is impossible.

How do we know that? How do we know that things wouldn’t move towards the direction we wish them to?
Because we always tell ourselves that all things should be safe before we try them. We were "taught" that way, and we strongly believe it. Have you ever challenged yourself to try to do things differently? I presume you hardly allow yourself to try to do the opposite of what you are familiar with. It is okay. We all do that.

We want to feel safe, to be comfortable. If we continue doing things that are familiar to us and never try to change our actions or our mindset will surely not help us evolve.

When we open our hearts and put all our fears aside things begin to move forward. Try to change your routine sometimes. Maybe not your routine if you love it and keeps you healthy but at least try to change the way you do your daily routine.

If you take the same path when you walk, try to take a different one. If you go to the same place, try to go to a place you have never been before. If you love vanilla ice cream, try a strawberry flavour next time. If you travel by car, take the train next time.

Did you know that our brain has incredible neuroplasticity? Latest brain studies show that our brain neuroplasticity can reorganize new pathways, can create new connections, and in some cases, even build new neurons.

We should always challenge the "traditional way" of thinking. The "ideal" way of thinking and doing things in different areas of life decades ago is not currently valid for our era. So, when you read or hear something, try to question it and make your own opinion. If you think it is too late to learn a new language, buy yourself the book that teaches you that language. If you love to run, try now and again to play tennis or any other sport. If you drink green tea, try white or black tea instead. Whatever you think might be uncomfortable at first to do, try and do it.

Once you are in the situation or decided to do things differently you might be surprised by your newest experiences. It can be liberating, it can be even pleasant, and you might wish to experience it again.

Do not let yourself be in the same situation you have been before. New experiences create new pathways, create new memories, and sometimes even new neurons.

Is it not wonderful? Why wouldn’t we allow ourselves to live the life we truly wish to live? The pathway to success is never easy, neither personal nor professional.

We NEED to come out of our comfort zone and build our faith. We just have to tell ourselves regularly that all will be well in the end, regardless of the situation we are inviting ourselves to.

I believe that we haven't accessed all that needs to be accessed to live the best life as human beings. We never allow ourselves that luxury. We are even scared of the thought of how we will manage to live that amazing life without skills or knowledge. We don’t need to, my friends. We already have all the skills and knowledge in ourselves. Our innate wisdom will guide us.

Just allow it and make it happen. We have a long way, but once we start we will keep on moving. Nothing is easy at first, but with practice, all can be achieved. Change your mindset, remove all your self-limiting beliefs and change your life.

5 WAYS TO KEEP GOOD ENERGY

good energy

Living the life you always dreamt of is the best gift you could get, right?

Let’s imagine for one moment that you are living your dream life (if you are not living your dream life already). If you are living your dream life, you must still think of something that is not just as perfect as you wish it to be, right? Were you ever confronted with that situation?

I think most of us were. How do you keep good energy levels when things do not always go as you wish them to?

THE FIRST thing you need to do is, picture yourself coming out of your actual dream life and look at yourself without any of it ( your family, your home, your job, your friends). How do you feel right now?

I am sure that it is not what you wish to imagine. It might cause quite a lot of discomfort, sadness, and just the image of it can be frightening. This is not what I wish you to feel, but sometimes we need to lose everything to become aware of all that we have in our lives. Sometimes it works to see the good when things are missing.

Most of the people in our lives give us a sense of belonging. Every experience in our life allows us to evolve. When we reflect on our journey, we realize that all need to happen as it happens to become aware of our aliveness.

THE SECOND thing to do to keep good energy levels is to take a mental break from all you are trying to implement in your life (personal or professional). Just take a break! Have that needed pause and reflect on your journey. Then reorganize your priorities. Our minds are always chasing plans, projects, schedules and to-do lists. Sometimes it can be exhausting. Human beings need to rest and recharge. Is that simple? Not all the time, but we MUST do it.

Imagine how our ancestors used to live. They had no alarms, no schedules like our modern ones, no smartphones, just a pen and paper. They woke up at sunrise and went to sleep when the sun went down. They organized their life according to their simple living. Their bodies were their clocks. They had no artificial light and most of the things they did, were just simple daily tasks.

They used to grow their food. I am very sure that having meals done with ingredients grown with the help of their own hands was so rewarding and satisfying. Seeing the crop taken care of with their own hands and eating the most nutritious and healthy food was the highlight of their day. They didn't run back and forth all day for things that have no importance. They used to live through the rhythm of nature and their tiredness was a healthy one.

Of course, our lives are so different from theirs. It would be an interesting experience for most of us to live in those times, don't you think? Try to imagine a day in your life similar to your ancestors. See how it feels.

THE THIRD thing to keep yourself in good mood is to be out in nature and try to connect with it. Reserve an hour or more, take a snack with you, made by your hands (if possible), a good book, and a notebook and just be out there with yourself in the middle of the beautiful nature. You will only have benefits being out there.

The  FOURTH way is to be reflective on what you have and try to enumerate them. Look at your situation from different angles and extract the things that bring you joy and things that bring wisdom to your life. See if you need to change things about your life, things that you think are keeping you from evolving. Try to be objective in all your lived experiences and try to learn from them. Express gratitude as often as you can and try to define what keeping good energy means to you. Try to build on those actions that can change the course of your life for the better.

THE FIFTH way to keep yourself in good energy and the most crucial one, I believe, is to NOT make yourself responsible for everything around you. Not everything around you involves you. You do not have to entertain everyone around you. If you keep your energy focused on the energy that weighs you down, your body will feel it rapidly, and you will get physically tired.

If things are not following the path you think is best, try not to weigh you down. You are in charge of your mindset, your schedule, and YOUR life. No one else is. The more you focus on the good IN EVERY SITUATION, the more you WILL keep the level of your good energy high. We are challenged to live a life in its raw form. We must become aware of how good energy makes us feel. Reflect if you want to experiment with it more often.

If you do, I am sure you will get a sense of all that is important to you and your life. You will keep focusing on how to maintain your good energy present for as long as possible. When you will try to keep the good energy in your life, your energy will always attract good people and great situations that you will always wish to be in. The secret is to focus on it. Where focus goes, the energy goes. So if your focus will be on the good, the good energy will follow.
